New WordPress Pages Added and Linked

I’m finally starting to get somewhere with WordPress, although it took a tremendous amount of hair-pulling and patience.

Take my advice: If you ever decide to put up your own WordPress blog, do not attempt to do so without reading all the basic introductory material and watching all the video tutorials while following along. You can look at the WordPress menus and THINK you can do it on your own, but you’ll just create a mess and have to start over.

New Logo for My Site

If you’ve been following my site, which so far no one is, you will have noticed that I changed my logo. As I mentioned in my previous post, I originally wanted a photo of the blue box that is so crucial to the theme of the film Mulholland Dr. I had a difficult time, though, finding one that would look nice with the big photo of Betty and Rita in the background.

I finally decided to use, at least for now, a picture of a neon clock. I absolutely love neon clocks, as I’m sure will become evident in my future posts. In fact, if I ever figure out how to add pages to my site there will certainly be at least one devoted to neon clocks. The clock design you see in my current logo is called Brent. I have no idea why; I didn’t name it. The guy who designed and built this clock is Curtis Stimpson. Curtis is located in Burbank, California, and he has a website called Curtis Clocks. Be sure to visit! Curtis is a great guy and he makes the most awesome clocks I’ve ever seen. (And Curtis, if you ever happen to read this, I really mean what I’m saying!)
